In the 3rd minute of the match, Santos Taurino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilson Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 8 minutes into the match, Santos Taurino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Taurino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Walter Wallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 12th minute of the match. Daniel Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Walter Wallander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walter Wallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graciano Coutinho in the 15th minute of play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Taurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 20th minute of play forced ≮王者归来≯国际米兰's goalkeeper Walter Wallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯国际米兰's goal looked a bit too open when Graciano Coutinho came free, but Walter Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Taurino came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Taurino ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Taurino in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind ≮王者归来≯国际米兰's goalkeeper Walter Wallander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Graciano Coutinho made in the 47th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Daniel Pimentel. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. Walter Wallander was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Felipe Barreto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felipe Barreto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 55 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Taurino came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Fabricio Andrade in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ≮王者归来≯国际米兰's Dale Dolar. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. ≮王者归来≯国际米兰's 刘德华 Wu was substituted for 顾庭冰. ≮王者归来≯国际米兰's 张学友 Wu got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 张学友 Wu's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute.
