Meng Di Jun started the match with the kick off. Caelan Hayes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Issac Dawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Calado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meng Di Jun in the 18th minute of play. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Meng Di Jun sped through England's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Khalid Kennedy. Caelan Hayes's late challenge caught a FC Dezassete's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caelan Hayes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caelan Hayes to maneuver through the defense. When Meng Di Jun came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the FC Dezassete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Meng Di Jun couldn't finish the play. Quinn Holmes hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. With 47 minutes on the clock, Eddie Willis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Khalid Kennedy had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Meng Di Jun's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

The wind increased when Kyle Cox made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Frederico Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Issac Dawson to maneuver through the defense. England's attentive Micah Macdonald managed to snatch the ball when Emanuel Millano made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. After 65 minutes, Cooper Thompson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the England and the FC Dezassete players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Dezassete booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cooper Thompson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in England's zone, Meng Di Jun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khalid Kennedy came out of the goal and Meng Di Jun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Quinn Holmes. FC Dezassete's Pang Kun Xi was substituted for Emanuel Millano. In the 74th minute, Quinn Holmes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes of play, FC Dezassete's Branco Tinto made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Khalid Kennedy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quintino Prates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Branco Tinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Branco Tinto came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Quinn Holmes. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Dezassete had won after a very even match.
