Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Várzea F.C.'s Luiz Eduardo Alcântara got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Várzea F.C.'s Carlos Augusto Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 5th minute of play. Carlos Augusto Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jude Monkhouse in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Várzea F.C.'s Alf Tennenbaum got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jude Monkhouse in the 12th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Augusto Quintal came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jude Monkhouse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Marcos Roberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Augusto Quintal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Várzea F.C.'s Rogério Saldanha got a free kick in the 29th minute. Jude Monkhouse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jude Monkhouse in the 32nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Jude Monkhouse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Jude Monkhouse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jude Monkhouse, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Jude Monkhouse came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jude Monkhouse in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Augusto Quintal. Várzea F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After having played for 64 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Várzea F.C. made a substitution. Dé Montenegro replaced Jude Monkhouse. Várzea F.C.'s Carlos Augusto Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 80th minute of play. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Quintal having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Dé Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Várzea F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
