Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Husky's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Jago Urquijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wim Wilmes in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jago Urquijo saved C.A. Husky from getting behind. C.A. Husky's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nabar Zafrilla in the 15th minute. The corner ended in Nabar Zafrilla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. It was a well-played corner which Walter White managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nabar Zafrilla in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.A. Husky's Jago Urquijo did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajar Indrekson in the 27th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Nabar Zafrilla sent off a good shot on target. Nabar Zafrilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jago Urquijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jago Urquijo having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Nabar Zafrilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Mathijn Doctor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Netherlands booed when C.A. Husky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Che Camacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajar Indrekson in the 89th minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nabar Zafrilla in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when C.A. Husky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mino Quesada didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Netherlands had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
