Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Samuele Kunz took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Alfred McDecland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hias Nüssli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Switzerland's Hias Nüssli got control of the ball when Alfred McDecland tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rodrigo von Känel hit a great ball. If Brenan Myler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Levi von Herren hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes Curhownagh got a freekick which was hit by Blian McWilliam. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Timo Siegmund hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Alfred McDecland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred McDecland. Curhownagh were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Switzerland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rowen Branson took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Brenainn Martyn heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Brenainn Martyn fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curhownagh's protests and gave Brenainn Martyn a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Curhownagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brenainn Martyn to maneuver through the defense. Hias Nüssli made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Blathma McSteve sent off a good shot on target. Switzerland's Fridolin Neumeister quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Brenan Myler, made in the 47th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfred McDecland to make the kick off. After taking down the ball on Curhownagh's corner Rowen Branson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hias Nüssli quite easily take care of the ball. Hias Nüssli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blathma McSteve, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred McDecland in the 65th minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Switzerland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hias Nüssli should have stopped the shot. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brenan Myler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
