The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CD Boiro's Perico Raya. Perico Raya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. After 16 played minutes CD Boiro got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Figari. 18 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Perico Raya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After having played for 22 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of CD Boiro booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demario Cuadrado in the 26th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgar Figari kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-2 in the 29 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 32nd minute of play forced CD Boiro's goalkeeper Perico Raya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perico Raya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Demario Cuadrado in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Figari. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Demario Cuadrado in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Eustaquio Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Malte Schiele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Boiro the free kick. After 89 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demario Cuadrado in the 93rd minute of play. Andoitz Arias made in the 96th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Edgar Figari immediately put the ball in play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see CD Boiro lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
