Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victor Cabanela started the match with the kick off. Rafael Aguilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Jilek in the 3rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Baiardo Pantoja kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vavrinec Holub. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Erik Jilek got a free kick in the 7th minute. Victor Cabanela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Vavrinec Holub made a huge save. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. David Rusil hit a great ball. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baiardo Pantoja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdemar Turecek charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdemar Turecek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Czech Republic:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AC Guadalajara:s goal. If Victor Cabanela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik Jilek during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes, AC Guadalajara's Paco Espinosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Guadalajara reached it. In the 34th minute, Kvetoslav Janku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 played minutes, AC Guadalajara's Lander Caminero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Guadalajara reached it. Vavrinec Holub made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Victor Cabanela sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Jilek was the one to do the kick off. Denis Dostal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Aguilo having to interfere. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baiardo Pantoja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Montxo Aranzubia during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Montxo Aranzubia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bohumir Kohout hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Erik Jilek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, AC Guadalajara's goal looked a bit too open when David Rusil came free, but Rafael Aguilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th match minute, AC Guadalajara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cucao Jurado to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in AC Guadalajara's zone, Denis Dostal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Aguilo came out of the goal and Denis Dostal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Jilek in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Aguilo saved AC Guadalajara from getting behind. In the 84th minute of the match Czech Republic got a corner. AC Guadalajara's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erik Jilek ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alan Rezek charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Rezek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Alan Rezek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Baiardo Pantoja came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the AC Guadalajara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baiardo Pantoja couldn't finish the play. The supporters of AC Guadalajara booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Turecek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Dostal to maneuver through the defense. Montxo Aranzubia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baiardo Pantoja, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AC Guadalajara fully deserved thier win.
