The audience thought a goal was coming when Everardo Rudolfo got free with Patrick Sandström in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robin Schirp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandinho Cruz in the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Dagoberto Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Sandström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Gaufred in the 43rd minute of play. Gurdurão's Patrick Sandström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Gurdurão from getting a goal against them. After the first half Gurdurão were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Fernandinho Cruz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Robin Schirp when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 54th minute Rolando Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Sandström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Schirp made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Fernandinho Cruz sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to CCONAWI5FUTBOLCLUB getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jorge Otsando hit a great ball. Patrick Sandström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Rudolfo in the 70th minute of the match. Robin Schirp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doriva Furlan's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. When Doriva Furlan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 78 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Robin Schirp was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Virgilio Quilino's late challenge caught a Gurdurão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
