The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Fonso got free with Feliks Szkarpiak in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Club Ibiza's Feliks Szkarpiak threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bruno Fonso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, ACF Gigliati's Julian Buczko got a free kick in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Fonso in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliks Szkarpiak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Ibiza's Rene Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wieslaw Lichucki in the 35th minute of play. With his leg Feliks Szkarpiak managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Club Ibiza's Bruno Fonso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bruno Fonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute Bruno Fonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Szkarpiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ACF Gigliati getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Klement Literski hit a great ball. Phillip Hunt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Feliks Szkarpiak. ACF Gigliati's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 44thth minute of the game Bruno Fonso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ACF Gigliati's Feliks Szkarpiak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 46 minutes, Wieslaw Lichucki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ACF Gigliati and the Club Ibiza players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, ACF Gigliati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Lichucki to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Julian Buczko made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Bruno Fonso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliks Szkarpiak was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. If Bruno Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A sloppy throw-in by Klement Literski in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club Ibiza's Phillip Hunt. 82 minutes into the match, Club Ibiza's goal looked a bit too open when Wieslaw Lichucki came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, ACF Gigliati's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Vornicescu came free, but Feliks Szkarpiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wieslaw Lichucki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Rene Higuita made a huge save. After having played for 94 minutes, Kazuo Koriotto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Ibiza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kazuo Koriotto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Ibiza had won after a very even match.
