Zikri Erincer made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Artur Walczak sent off a good shot on target. 3 minutes into the match, Platingucu SK's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Czeszejko came free, but Zikri Erincer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Platingucu SK's Özbek Settar got a free kick in the 5th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zikri Erincer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 15thth minute of the game Fabian Czeszejko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Platingucu SK's Zikri Erincer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zikri Erincer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Czeszejko, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Platingucu SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernando Morientes was slow to take the kick. During this time Olimpia HSB's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Platingucu SK's goalie and right to Nikola Mirotić. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Platingucu SK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 20 minutes into the match, Platingucu SK's goalkeeper Zikri Erincer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panait Maxim. A well done corner resulted in Panait Maxim drilling the ball in to score 3-0 behind Platingucu SK's goalkeeper. Zikri Erincer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 27th minute of the match. Panait Maxim's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zikri Erincer firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 34th minute of the match Olimpia HSB got a corner. Platingucu SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Morientes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Olimpia HSB's Panait Maxim managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Denizhan Yahya in the 41 minute of the game. If Fabian Czeszejko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zikri Erincer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Fabian Czeszejko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zikri Erincer. Platingucu SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Czeszejko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Czeszejko made a kick off. Zikri Erincer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 51st minute of play. Fabian Czeszejko might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zikri Erincer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Czeszejko ran back to his position shaking his head. Panait Maxim kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Baran Bilge Ergunalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Vladan Kovačević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominick Rouvroys hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Czeszejko in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zikri Erincer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Fabian Czeszejko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zikri Erincer was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Olimpia HSB's Panait Maxim quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Akay Özalpman, made in the 66th minute of the game. Zikri Erincer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 67th minute of play. Zikri Erincer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Czeszejko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominick Rouvroys's late challenge caught a Olimpia HSB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dominick Rouvroys helped the player get up and apologised. Olimpia HSB's Zbyszko Skorny was substituted for Artur Walczak. Olimpia HSB's Witold Prosowski was substituted for Tomáš Petrásek. 71 minutes into the game, one of Platingucu SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Zikri Erincer had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Fernando Morientes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Fernando Morientes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Zikri Erincer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Zbyszko Skorny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olimpia HSB's supporters rose to their feet, but Zbyszko Skorny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zikri Erincer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, Jacek Pietrowiak notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Platingucu SK's Zikri Erincer. Zikri Erincer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacek Pietrowiak might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zikri Erincer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacek Pietrowiak ran back to his position shaking his head. Zikri Erincer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Pietrowiak in the 88th minute of the match. Fernando Morientes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zikri Erincer having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Platingucu SK's Baran Bilge Ergunalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladan Kovačević narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Platingucu SK defense, Jacek Pietrowiak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zikri Erincer. The Platingucu SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zikri Erincer should have stopped the shot. Olimpia HSB's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
