In the 9th minute of the match, Bernt Carlberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but De-Jesús Cardon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Roger Ekberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Casados, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No Me Inscriban Gracias's De-Jesús Cardon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save No Me Inscriban Gracias from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, AC United's De-Jesús Cardon threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernt Carlberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. De-Jesús Cardon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Lindman in the 17th minute. With a little luck, No Me Inscriban Gracias's De-Jesús Cardon got control of the ball when Joel Lindman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Rune Olofsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of De-Jesús Cardon. Rune Olofsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. De-Jesús Cardon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Carlberg in the 22nd minute of play. Fernández Huidobro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Roger Ekberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Ekberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samaniego Corel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute of the match AC United got a corner. No Me Inscriban Gracias's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arne Alén ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led AC United's Torsten Enström to fire away a dangerous shot which De-Jesús Cardon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 33 minutes No Me Inscriban Gracias's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arne Alén who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on AC United's corner Arne Alén fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and De-Jesús Cardon quite easily take care of the ball. Sanchez Carro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Ekberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Rune Olofsson made a precise shot to the right of De-Jesús Cardon. No Me Inscriban Gracias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A collision led to No Me Inscriban Gracias getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Cesar Laso hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Lindman to strike the kick off in the second half. Elof Hedling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. De-Jesús Cardon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No Me Inscriban Gracias's Veto Cena was substituted for Rafael Casados. After some careless play in the No Me Inscriban Gracias defense, Joel Lindman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of De-Jesús Cardon. The No Me Inscriban Gracias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that De-Jesús Cardon should have stopped the shot. If Veto Cena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Samaniego Corel came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the No Me Inscriban Gracias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samaniego Corel couldn't finish the play. Roger Ekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veto Cena in the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in AC United's zone, Veto Cena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Ekberg came out of the goal and Veto Cena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st match minute, No Me Inscriban Gracias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Manso to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rdth minute of the game Veto Cena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC United's Roger Ekberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th match minute, AC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Enström to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AC United fans cheered their team off the field, for while No Me Inscriban Gracias had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
