After some careless play in the Peyote defense, Edgar Ambjörnsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zenon Dembkowski. In the 39th minute, Peyote's Feliciano Bizen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ingemar Klint. Ingemar Klint yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After 42 minutes, Erling Brandt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Hamodi and the Peyote players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erling Brandt kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jens-Ola Bergström was the one to do the kick off. Erling Hjortberg hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Feliciano Bizen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Isauro in the 93rd minute of play forced FC Hamodi's goalkeeper Ingemar Klint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Artemio Isauro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingemar Klint. FC Hamodi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artemio Isauro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
