Zikri Erincer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Carlberg in the 30th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Bernt Carlberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Platingucu SK's Zikri Erincer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th match minute, Platingucu SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominick Rouvroys to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 46 minutes, Arne Alén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Alén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
