In the 7th minute Bruno Fonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Ekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Ekberg made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Bruno Fonso sent off a good shot on target. AC United's Roger Ekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Fonso in the 14th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, AC United's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Fonso came free, but Roger Ekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Ekberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Fonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Club Ibiza were awarded a corner. Phillip Hunt went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Cacey 武磊 got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-0. 28 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, AC United's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Fonso came free, but Roger Ekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Ekberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Phillip Hunt. AC United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bruno Fonso 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

If Bruno Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute Bruno Fonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Ekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Ibiza's Kazuo Koriotto was substituted for Bruno Fonso. A collision led to AC United getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Elof Hedling hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in AC United's zone, Kazuo Koriotto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Ekberg came out of the goal and Kazuo Koriotto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rdth minute of the game Kazuo Koriotto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC United's Roger Ekberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rene Higuita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Olofsson in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Kazuo Koriotto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Ekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arne Alén got free with Rene Higuita in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Kazuo Koriotto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Ibiza's Tony Thanos was substituted for Ştefan Vornicescu. Roger Ekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazuo Koriotto in the 90th minute of the match. Elof Hedling hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Kazuo Koriotto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Ekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Club Ibiza's Phillip Hunt to fire away a dangerous shot which Roger Ekberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience cheered when Phillip Hunt's long shot passed Roger Ekberg's right side. It was 5-0, 93 minutes into the match. AC United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
