With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernt Carlberg in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Joseph saved KS Górnik Wieliczka from getting behind. Arne Alén kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Pankracy Kosel fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Górnik Wieliczka's protests and gave Pankracy Kosel a yellow card for diving instead. Pankracy Kosel hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Joel Lindman struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Marcos Joseph didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC United. Marcos Joseph didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rune Olofsson went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute Joel Lindman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Joseph saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute of the match AC United got a corner. KS Górnik Wieliczka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arne Alén ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Arne Alén almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KS Górnik Wieliczka's Marcos Joseph did a great save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Witalis Pinczewski was the one to do the kick off. Marcos Joseph took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Lindman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Ekberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Konrad Brudnicki's late challenge caught a AC United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konrad Brudnicki helped the player get up and apologised. Konrad Brudnicki hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the last second Marcos Joseph throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bernt Carlberg in the 90thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. AC United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arne Alén in the 92nd minute. Arne Alén's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Marcos Joseph on his right side and into the goal. 92 minutes into the game it was 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Lindman got free with Marcos Joseph in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
