With 21 minutes on the clock, Levi von Herren commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Cristian Marquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hias Nüssli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. If Tomas Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Jacinto Maurer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Igor Maranhense came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the A.C.Mandala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Maranhense couldn't finish the play. Dorival Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of A.C.Mandala booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Siegmund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Switzerland's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Igor Maranhense fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

Fridolin Neumeister kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Tomas Gustavsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.C.Mandala's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Gustavsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hias Nüssli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Thomi's late challenge caught a A.C.Mandala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Thomi helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Switzerland:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of A.C.Mandala:s goal. Switzerland:s Hias Nüssli showed great skill when he stopped Tomas Gustavsson:s penalty. After 62 minutes, Igor Maranhense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.C.Mandala and the Switzerland players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hias Nüssli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Gustavsson in the 68th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Jacinto Maurer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute, Switzerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuele Kunz to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute Tomas Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Cristian Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes Switzerland got a freekick which was hit by Federico Wiesendanger. After recieving a nice pass, A.C.Mandala's Bernardinho Siqueira tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A.C.Mandala's Tomas Gustavsson got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hias Nüssli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Maranhense in the 88th minute of the match. Tomas Gustavsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Marquez during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristian Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Cristian Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Maranhense made in the 98th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tomas Gustavsson however managed to control. When the referee blew the final whistle, A.C.Mandala could leave the field as winners, despite Switzerland having more of the ball for most of the match.
