Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Peletier got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Eduardo Cardozo got free with Maxime Durand in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 3rd minute, Bebeto Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 4 played minutes, France's David Barbier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edinho Lira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in France reached it. Luiz Eduardo Cardozo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Bruno Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Luiz Eduardo Cardozo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INTER FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 16th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebeto Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bebeto Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of INTER FC booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Bombelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remy Dupuy in the 26th minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Edinho Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson Leme in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Maxence Durand hit a great ball. When Luiz Eduardo Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the INTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Eduardo Cardozo couldn't finish the play. Edinho Lira came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by France's Camille Baume. But to his dismay, Camille Baume quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Edinho Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of France booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédson Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Eduardo Cardozo. Edinho Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emerson Cruz to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, France's Jean Bombelles got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 58 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Léo Trigo. After 61 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Cruz. The supporters of France booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edinho Lira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from David Barbier. In the 64th minute, Ricardinho Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Edinho Lira in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edinho Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remy Dupuy in the 69th minute of play. France's Camille Baume got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. INTER FC's Germano Luz was substituted for Cássio Porto. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Edinho Lira made a huge save. The supporters of France booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédson Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. INTER FC's Edinho Lira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save INTER FC from getting a goal against them. Alexis Bruneau kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match Gugu Campidelis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maxime Durand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the game, INTER FC's Frits Berendt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxime Durand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frits Berendt in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Thiago de Barros in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by France's Remy Dupuy. France's Remy Dupuy managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Thiago de Barros in the 97 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Edinho Lira in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. INTER FC were victorious despite being under pressure from France for much of the match.
