Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Wolves Academy's Paul Negulescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Slovakia's Vavrinec Koleno got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 4 minutes into the match, Wolves Academy's Gigel Orescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrich Slany narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabriel Uncheşelu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Paul Negulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolves Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Negulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliver Holub scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radu Ciordaș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oliver Holub kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Metod Mlynar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radu Ciordaș was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Wolves Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Metod Mlynar came free, but Radu Ciordaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Oliver Holub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute of the game Gabriel Uncheşelu made a throw-in which Paul Negulescu played forward. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Negulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dragoş Buznea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Zigmund Maliar got free with Radu Ciordaș in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kornel Jahoda kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Negulescu in the 75th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vavrinec Koleno to maneuver through the defense. After 82 played minutes, Wolves Academy's Dragoş Buznea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henrich Slany came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wolves Academy reached it. 87 minutes into the match, Metod Mlynar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Radu Ciordaș, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Wolves Academy's zone, Metod Mlynar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Ciordaș came out of the goal and Metod Mlynar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Slovakia booed when Wolves Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Uncheşelu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Slovakia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
