Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Máté Havass was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 5th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Tamás Takács tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute David Eikelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Havass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Átták's Máté Havass played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 14th minute of play. Máté Havass came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's David Eikelkamp. But to his dismay, David Eikelkamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Máté Havass stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Meesters's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Átták got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Illés Virág ran over to the corner to take the kick. Átták's Máté Havass played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máté Havass was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 32nd minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Átták's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 33rd match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Meesters to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Átták's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tamás Takács, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Máté Havass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 36th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Máté Havass tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Havass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Máté Havass showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Átták's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Máté Havass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tamás Takács to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Lars Meesters rounded Átták's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Máté Havass successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wim Wilmes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Máté Havass having to make a save. Átták's Máté Havass proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Átták from getting a goal against them. David Eikelkamp struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Máté Havass didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Máté Havass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 71st minute of the match. A well done corner resulted in Wim Wilmes drilling the ball in to score 0-6 behind Átták's goalkeeper. When David Eikelkamp came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Eikelkamp couldn't finish the play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Máté Havass made a huge save. Máté Havass made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Eikelkamp in the 80th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Máté Havass tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wim Wilmes scored 0-7 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Máté Havass, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Gustaaf Groeneveldt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Netherlands played a much better game than Átták and deserved their victory. The Átták players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
