Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Mariano Andujar in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. After a defensive mix-up in Ensenadas's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Andujar came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
