Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 9 minutes, Mikkel Wulff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikkel Wulff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lauras Maslauskas made in the 14th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jon Elliot. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great ball. Heavenly Hooters's Leo Bean got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leo Bean went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 28 minutes of play, Heavenly Hooters's Brandon Wright made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Griffiths in the 35th minute of play. In the 35th minute Todd Griffiths shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikkel Wulff might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Will Goldthorpe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heavenly Hooters's Edorta Quintas suffered a sore thigh after 39 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 40 minutes into the game, Bjarne Kirkegaard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heavenly Hooters the free kick. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Jon Elliot made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. 46 minutes into the game, Jon Elliot threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Lars Steen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Bean made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Jon Elliot in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Lars Steen. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phil Naylor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todd Griffiths, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Todd Griffiths made a great header on Heavenly Hooters's corner, it was just that Denmark's Keld Paulsen managed to reach the ball for a save. Chris Nygaard's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Will Goldthorpe firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Heavenly Hooters getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Todd Griffiths hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Denmark players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Heavenly Hooters.
