David Rusil was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 15th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kvetoslav Janku to maneuver through the defense. Denis Dostal kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. David Rusil took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvio Niva. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. Valdemar Turecek hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Bruno Baristo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Erik Jilek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kvetoslav Janku's late challenge caught a Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kvetoslav Janku helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Kvetoslav Janku. Alan Rezek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Niva having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Rusil in the 42nd minute of play forced Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goalkeeper Elvio Niva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Jilek made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias Napier during the 52nd minute. Denis Dostal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Elvio Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 minutes Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erik Jilek who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Czech Republic's Erik Jilek to fire away a dangerous shot which Elvio Niva despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jeremias Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Czech Republic walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
