Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when George Grealish made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the game, Chris Mergenthaler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Three Lions FC the free kick. In the 4th minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Grealish in the 10th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Grealish charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed George Grealish the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Gunnar Ekeroth capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gunnar Ekeroth really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. George Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gunnar Ekeroth went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 26 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gunnar Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Three Lions FC's George Grealish got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, George Maguire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Three Lions FC's George Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 55th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Ekeroth in the 57th minute of play. The audience held their breath when Esteban Montrell in the 60th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Tommy Kahn's left hand side. After 66 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. If Gunnar Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Ekeroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Gunnar Ekeroth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Gunnar Ekeroth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Ekeroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Germany booed when Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Maldini didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
