Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Flavio Vittori successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stamen Tekeliev in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. Stamen Tekeliev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Vittori having to make a save. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Indyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Ilari Eklund hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Sigfrido Auletta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Italy's Sigfrido Auletta got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Buğrahan Altınpınar, made in the 85th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Curto got free with Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adriano Curto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia came out and tried to block the shot, but Adriano Curto slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 90th minute. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guiscardo Davide, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Miska Cavia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Italy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
