Mujaga Yetkiner's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mujaga Yetkiner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Mujaga Yetkiner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ildefonso Paulin hit a great ball. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. Denmark's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Wang Rong Jing scored to the left of an out of position Keld Paulsen, making the score, 1-0. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Marcu Ianculescu sped through Denmark's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. In the 20th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Ravelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Ravelli having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Keld Paulsen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Ravelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Ravelli saved S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r from getting behind. Wang Rong Jing who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Keld Paulsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Bedri Nafi came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Paulsen was a little too slow when Marcu Ianculescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 4-0. 45 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wang Rong Jing. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wang Rong Jing was the one to do the kick off. Marcu Ianculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 52nd match minute, S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yavuz Bülent İlkim to maneuver through the defense. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Ravelli having to interfere. In the 57thth minute of the game Bedri Nafi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Rong Jing in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Marcu Ianculescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. The supporters of Denmark booed when S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Ianculescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bedri Nafi's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Chris Nygaard was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 79th minute Wang Rong Jing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdurrahim Bahar made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
