The supporters of Netherlands booed when ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Savier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 minutes, Ubarna Marcos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubarna Marcos to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Netherlands booed when ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edilberto Bustillos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the game Kees Mooiweer made a throw-in which Lars Meesters played forward. 16 minutes into the match, ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Clemente Savier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ubarna Marcos sent off a good shot on target. Clemente Savier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Clemente Savier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Resulhan İsmihan made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Netherlands's Lars Meesters. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ubarna Marcos made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ubarna Marcos in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Clemente Savier successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 79th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Netherlands's Lars Meesters to fire away a dangerous shot which Clemente Savier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Gabriel Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s Gabriel Olivar got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes of play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clemente Savier was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Clemente Savier in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roberto Carlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
