Viriato Moura took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedicto Ireno. Benedicto Ireno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 14 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Baladi came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Benedicto Ireno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Daniel Pimentel made a precise shot to the right of Benedicto Ireno. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Rodolfo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Colas Valdueza came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28th play minutes Albino Baladi shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Wilson Amorim and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colas Valdueza in the 30th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Colas Valdueza in the 33rd minute. When Colas Valdueza came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Colas Valdueza couldn't finish the play. If Colas Valdueza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
