The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Samuel Sotero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Lundqvist having to interfere. A collision led to De Gröna FK getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Linus Bark hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes EL PEPO FC got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Beltxe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Rainerio in the 17th minute of play forced De Gröna FK's goalkeeper Tommy Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Linus Bark hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Anibal Beltxe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL PEPO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Beltxe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hans Wennerberg in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Romulo Jon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tommy Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Rainerio in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Kaj Hylander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Gröna FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EL PEPO FC the free kick. Kaj Hylander kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Gaspar Fernendo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olof Arenius during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, De Gröna FK's Olof Arenius got a free kick in the 37th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans Wennerberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Elvio Rainerio came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the EL PEPO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Rainerio couldn't finish the play. Hans Wennerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tommy Lundqvist was a little too slow when Gaspar Fernendo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 74th minute, Hans Wennerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes, Mariano Noe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL PEPO FC and the De Gröna FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, EL PEPO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Noe to maneuver through the defense. Per-Olof Eliasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Romulo Jon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. EL PEPO FC's Elvio Rainerio got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Lundqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Mellbad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Jon having to interfere.
