The referee ignored Cisco Birlik FC's protests and gave Tevfik Kayrabay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Cisco Birlik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tevfik Kayrabay to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Çetin Akmeşe got free with Hakkı Devrim Demirağ in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kemal Çakır to make the kick off.
