FC Nordsjælland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tevfik Kayrabay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goal looked a bit too open when Çetin Akmeşe came free, but Karl Hermer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Kennet Ingversen made a precise shot to the right of Yaşar Şerif. Cisco Birlik FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Anders Boutrup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Yaşar Şerif made a huge save. In the 15th match minute, FC Nordsjælland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kennet Ingversen to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goal looked a bit too open when Çetin Akmeşe came free, but Karl Hermer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tevfik Kayrabay took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl Hermer. Karl Hermer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Karl Hermer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kemal Çakır in the 25th minute of the match. With a little luck, Cisco Birlik FC's Yaşar Şerif got control of the ball when Jørgen Otteskov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anders Boutrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Boutrup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Yaşar Şerif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yaşar Şerif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Bernhoft in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Nordsjælland defense, Abay Koral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Hermer. The FC Nordsjælland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Hermer should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anders Boutrup stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Nordsjælland's Karl Hermer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save FC Nordsjælland from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, Kemal Çakır dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karl Hermer, 1-4. After a rather tough play, FC Nordsjælland's Adam Dybhøj got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Şehzade Ulunay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl Hermer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Cisco Birlik FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ecevit Hacıahmetoğlu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kirstein Luvard in the 63rd minute of play forced Cisco Birlik FC's goalkeeper Yaşar Şerif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecevit Hacıahmetoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Kemal Çakır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Hermer having to interfere. Çetin Akmeşe hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Veli Günay kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Tevfik Kayrabay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl Hermer. That made the score 1-5 in the 80 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Çetin Akmeşe got free with Karl Hermer in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute Tevfik Kayrabay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Hermer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Cisco Birlik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kennet Ingversen came free, but Yaşar Şerif reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cisco Birlik FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
