After 11 played minutes Westenenk got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Luque. Jaap van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baran Bilge Ergunalp in the 12th minute of the match. Zikri Erincer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valio Tammisto, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th match minute, Westenenk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Lauaxeta to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Eddy van den Eede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zikri Erincer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valio Tammisto made a kick off. Wieslaw Posadzki's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zikri Erincer firmly grabbed it by the left post.
