The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Korneliusz Piechna kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Tobiasz Niemoj got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Platingucu SK's Zikri Erincer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Platingucu SK from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Platingucu SK's Zikri Erincer got control of the ball when Wit Dombrowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Borówiec's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bekir Dağhan was slow to take the kick. During this time Platingucu SK's players had a chance to rest. 21 minutes into the match, FC Borówiec's goal looked a bit too open when Tuncer Polatalp came free, but Borys Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zikri Erincer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Niemoj in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Baran Bilge Ergunalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tuncer Polatalp in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Borys Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Borys Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuncer Polatalp in the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of FC Borówiec booed when Platingucu SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuncer Polatalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Platingucu SK's goalkeeper Zikri Erincer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobiasz Niemoj. 43 minutes into the game, Borys Klucznik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zikri Erincer. Borys Klucznik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 47 minutes into the match, Wit Dombrowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zikri Erincer. Platingucu SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wit Dombrowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wit Dombrowski to make the kick off. 64 minutes into the game, Korneliusz Piechna threw the ball into play from the sideline. Platingucu SK's Özbek Settar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 65 minutes, Baran Bilge Ergunalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Platingucu SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baran Bilge Ergunalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denizhan Yahya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Borys Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baran Bilge Ergunalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Brzakala charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Brzakala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Robert Brzakala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, FC Borówiec's Borys Buffon got control of the ball when Tuncer Polatalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Borówiec had won after a very even match.
