Melker Ödman was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, Athletico Picapedrense's Coronel Ribas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melker Ödman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Athletico Picapedrense getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Horaţiu Crăiță hit a great ball. Melker Ödman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hristo Stoichkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hristo Stoichkov made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Diniimanibelediyespor's goal looked a bit too open when Hristo Stoichkov came free, but Melker Ödman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hristo Stoichkov in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melker Ödman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Athletico Picapedrense's Hristo Stoichkov managed to work through Diniimanibelediyespor's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. When the final whistle sounded Athletico Picapedrense left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Diniimanibelediyespor.
