The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kolos's goalkeeper Geovani Baiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to MKS Maczka getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Roch Janiczek hit a great ball. Emil Cvitanović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Bjurström, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Folke Samuelsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovani Baiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of FC Kolos booed when MKS Maczka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Devrim Erensoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 minutes, Denys Sokolovsjkyi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kolos and the MKS Maczka players grew even worse after the yellow card. Geovani Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugeniusz Kolbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute MKS Maczka were awarded a corner. Folke Samuelsson went to the cornerflag to take it. Folke Samuelsson made a great header on MKS Maczka's corner, it was just that FC Kolos's Geovani Baiano managed to reach the ball for a save. When Cătălin Herea came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the MKS Maczka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cătălin Herea couldn't finish the play. Arkhyp Stepanenko hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

FC Kolos made a substitution. Maxym Sulimenko replaced Denys Sokolovsjkyi. FC Kolos's Svyatoslav Musiyko was substituted for Arkhyp Stepanenko. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugeniusz Kolbert was the one to do the kick off. MKS Maczka's Pankracy Gaszynski was substituted for Igor Fleischer. MKS Maczka's Zula Drozdowski was substituted for Wincenty Sakowicz. The supporters of MKS Maczka booed when FC Kolos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxym Sulimenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, MKS Maczka's goalkeeper Emil Cvitanović had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boleslaw Niziolek. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Kolos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
