Filippo Cappucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloi Fontanella in the 12th minute of the match. The Athletico Picapedrense fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Athletico Picapedrense's Hristo Stoichkov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Filippo Cappucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coronel Ribas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Hristo Stoichkov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filippo Cappucci was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Chelsea FC's Filippo Cappucci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Chelsea FC from getting a goal against them. After 33 minutes of play, Athletico Picapedrense's Hristo Stoichkov made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filippo Cappucci was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Athletico Picapedrense's Hristo Stoichkov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filippo Cappucci. Filippo Cappucci yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Hristo Stoichkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filippo Cappucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hristo Stoichkov ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hristo Stoichkov got free with Filippo Cappucci in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hristo Stoichkov in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filippo Cappucci saved Chelsea FC from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Hristo Stoichkov scored 5-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filippo Cappucci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsea FC's zone, Reno Cartagena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filippo Cappucci came out of the goal and Reno Cartagena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, one of Chelsea FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chelsea FC. In the 60th minute, Hristo Stoichkov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Hristo Stoichkov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Filippo Cappucci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chelsea FC's Filippo Cappucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Crăiță in the 65th minute of play. Horaţiu Crăiță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Athletico Picapedrense's Zenon Klewinski was substituted for Reno Cartagena. 70 minutes into the match, Eloi Fontanella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filippo Cappucci. Chelsea FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eloi Fontanella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After 73 minutes of play, Athletico Picapedrense's Eloi Fontanella made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filippo Cappucci was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute, Eloi Fontanella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filippo Cappucci was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. In the 81st minute, Eloi Fontanella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Athletico Picapedrense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. The Athletico Picapedrense fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Athletico Picapedrense's Eloi Fontanella looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 92ndth minute of the game Eloi Fontanella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chelsea FC's Filippo Cappucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Ribas in the 93rd minute of play forced Chelsea FC's goalkeeper Filippo Cappucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloi Fontanella took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filippo Cappucci. Filippo Cappucci dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. When the referee ended the match the Athletico Picapedrense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
