Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuele Kunz started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuele Kunz in the 8th minute of play forced GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's goalkeeper Jan Turek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Norbert Mikulski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jan Turek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuele Kunz in the 14th minute of the match. Hias Nüssli came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Leszek Tusk. But to his dismay, Leszek Tusk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Leszek Tusk's late challenge caught a Switzerland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leszek Tusk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leszek Tusk to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Samuele Kunz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Fridolin Neumeister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hias Nüssli had great luck who in the 40thth minute grab hold of the ball when Iwo Kuszczak from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leszek Tusk to make the kick off. Norbert Mikulski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hias Nüssli having to interfere. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Franzik in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Rodrigo von Känel got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Samuele Kunz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Switzerland's Samuele Kunz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan Turek. Jan Turek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 77 minutes into the match, Switzerland's Rodrigo von Känel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Turek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Tusk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Maurer during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer got a free kick in the 79th minute. Wawrzyniec Franzik might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hias Nüssli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wawrzyniec Franzik ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Wawrzyniec Franzik got a free kick in the 87th minute. Jan Turek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuele Kunz, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Samuele Kunz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Switzerland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuele Kunz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
