Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. Svatopluk Capek kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Ago Vaasna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Jilek in the 18th minute of the match. Frederic Bell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdemar Turecek hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Brian Laudrup struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Vavrinec Holub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Uerdingen 05. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Uerdingen 05's Frederic Bell. But to his dismay, Frederic Bell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Alan Rezek hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Brian Laudrup made a precise shot to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Valdemar Turecek hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Jilek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enerik Valencia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vavrinec Holub read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. KFC Uerdingen 05 were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Czech Republic's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ricardo Lugebiel took the corner. In the 62nd minute Brian Laudrup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Uerdingen 05's Brian Laudrup. But to his dismay, Brian Laudrup quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Vavrinec Holub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabrizio Nowak went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 72 played minutes KFC Uerdingen 05 got a freekick which was hit by Lando Cürten. Denis Dostal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ago Vaasna having to interfere. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederic Bell, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bohumir Kohout during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Frederic Bell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alan Rezek hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enerik Valencia in the 90th minute of play. The audience held their breath when Ricardo Lugebiel in the 95th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Vavrinec Holub's left hand side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KFC Uerdingen 05 had played much better football throughout.
