In the 7th minute of the match France got a corner. ForestFire's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Barbier ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Frank Peletier advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 8th minute. ForestFire's Shaki Conn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 12th minute of play. Shaki Conn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Shaki Conn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 18th minute of play. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ken Ivey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. France's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Ken Ivey scored to the left of an out of position Maxime Durand, making the score, 1-1. When France's Frank Peletier in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ForestFire's goalie prevented a goal. After 42 minutes, Cãlin Tâmbalari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ForestFire and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ForestFire getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Cãlin Tâmbalari hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ken Ivey to make the kick off. The supporters of ForestFire booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Beaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ken Ivey in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Ken Ivey notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of France's Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robert Chapuis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Shaki Conn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 68 minutes into the game, Ken Ivey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to ForestFire getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ken Ivey hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Ken Ivey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Ken Ivey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxime Durand was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. The audience was convinced that Ken Ivey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 85th minute Ken Ivey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th play minute Camille Baume came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Shaki Conn. 7-2. After 92 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Wilfred Pelletier. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Shaki Conn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ForestFire's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
