After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Fernando Negro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seraċini Għawdxin's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Negro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bennvar Noobel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 22nd minute of play. Song Wei Yun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. The supporters of Seraċini Għawdxin booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adam Jansson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Song Wei Yun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Neil Degabriele managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 83 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Griffin came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Song Wei Yun in the 93rd minute of the match. Seraċini Għawdxin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
