The goal made the score 1-0. 6 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Glenn Fyfe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faustino Almeida made in the 9th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fabricio Andrade. Glenn Fyfe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. King Scorpio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 17th minute of play. King Scorpio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. In the 21st match minute, A4p FC Gad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Martxel to maneuver through the defense. A4p FC Gad's King Scorpio got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, King Scorpio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. James Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's King Scorpio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, King Scorpio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim, 3-2. After 36 minutes of play, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glenn Fyfe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by King Scorpio in the 40th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Fabricio Andrade in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by A4p FC Gad's Anfilogino Manzi. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dumitru Purcărete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by King Scorpio in the 53rd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's attentive Daniel Pimentel managed to snatch the ball when Daniel Löfgren made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led A4p FC Gad's Marcin Pachucki to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. King Scorpio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Scorpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, King Scorpio put it in 5-3 from a short distance just to the right of Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of King Scorpio's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. A sloppy throw-in by King Scorpio in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Rodolfo Miranda. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Scorpio in the 85th minute of play. King Scorpio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute of the match A4p FC Gad got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcin Pachucki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Erasmo Damião advanced and headed the ball into goal, 8-3 in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, King Scorpio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A4p FC Gad's attentive Anfilogino Manzi managed to snatch the ball when Fabricio Andrade made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Felipinho Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Scorpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A4p FC Gad were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Portugal for a fine match.
