The supporters of Denmark booed when Carrapichel - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kléberson Camargo charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kléberson Camargo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Carrapichel - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléberson Camargo to maneuver through the defense. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Acácio Neto sent off a good shot on target. Edson Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikkel Wulff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Abel de Barros got a free kick in the 17th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Dráuzio Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrapichel - FDFDF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when David Fernandes came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Carrapichel - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Edson Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a free kick in the 29th minute. Carrapichel - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Beto Cavalcante in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. Váldson Alagoano got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Acácio Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chris Nygaard during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edson Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Oséias de Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrapichel - FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Lars Steen hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Kléberson Camargo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Keld Paulsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carrapichel - FDFDF reached it. Edson Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Neto came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Denmark's Mathias Ludvigsen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mathias Ludvigsen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Denmark protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mathias Ludvigsen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Denmark! In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Carrapichel - FDFDF. Rogério Alcântara stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Keld Paulsen. 2-0. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Rogério Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrapichel - FDFDF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Acácio Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Carrapichel - FDFDF could leave the field as winners, despite Denmark having more of the ball for most of the match.
