Versannat's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Käcker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hias Nüssli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Käcker might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hias Nüssli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Käcker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Hias Nüssli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Käcker went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Hias Nüssli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Käcker in the 88th minute of the match. After 90 minutes Switzerland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herbert Guette who took care of the corner kick. Herbert Guette made a great header on Versannat's corner, it was just that Switzerland's Hias Nüssli managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 92nd minute, Ivan Käcker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Versannat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After 95 played minutes Versannat got a freekick which was hit by Eneko Puyol. 98 minutes into the match, Ivan Käcker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Käcker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Versannat's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
