Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pong Kula made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 3 minutes, Pong Kula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Letal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pong Kula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleary Mulvihill got free with Abelardo Zubizarreta in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pat Harkin came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Letal's Pong Kula. But to his dismay, Pong Kula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Pong Kula hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15thth minute of the game Pong Kula who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Illanbaun Utd's Pat Harkin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 16 played minutes Atlético Letal got a freekick which was hit by Alfredinho Sena. 18 minutes into the match, Atlético Letal's goalkeeper Abelardo Zubizarreta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleary Mulvihill. If Dráusio de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Pong Kula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pat Harkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Atlético Letal got a corner. Illanbaun Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dursun Ali Mehmet ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chicão de Queiroz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 33 minutes of play, Atlético Letal's Pong Kula made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pat Harkin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, Pong Kula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pat Harkin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Pong Kula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pong Kula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atlético Letal made a substitution. Tomás Goren replaced Pong Kula. Atlético Letal's Pedro Silveira was substituted for Dráusio de Queirós. The Illanbaun Utd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético Letal were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cleary Mulvihill to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Illanbaun Utd's Kain Doyle got a free kick in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Tomás Goren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Pat Harkin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pat Harkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Goren, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Cleary Mulvihill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Illanbaun Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleary Mulvihill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Zubizarreta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th match minute, Illanbaun Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aubrey Keegan to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Goren in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pat Harkin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Tomás Goren could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Pat Harkin however easily saved by the left post. In the 75th minute, Tomás Goren made a precise shot to the right of Pat Harkin. Illanbaun Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Tomás Goren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th minute Tomás Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pat Harkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes Illanbaun Utd got a freekick which was hit by Dane Doyle. 90 minutes into the match, Atlético Letal's Tomás Goren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pat Harkin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Oliver Costello fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Illanbaun Utd's protests and gave Oliver Costello a yellow card for diving instead. Tomás Goren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Atlético Letal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
