Håkon Persson kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th match minute, Köse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabri Zübeyir to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ousmane Diallo sped through Köse's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vahit Hekimoğlu. With a little luck, Köse's Vahit Hekimoğlu got control of the ball when Jørgen Holmgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vahit Hekimoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ousmane Diallo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. When Vestfjorden FK's Ousmane Diallo in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Köse's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute Jørgen Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vahit Hekimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Köse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eralp Yalavaç to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Ousmane Diallo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ousmane Diallo had several of the Köse's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Vahit Hekimoğlu as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ousmane Diallo in the 48th minute of play forced Köse's goalkeeper Vahit Hekimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ousmane Diallo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Vestfjorden FK's Håkon Persson got a free kick in the 51st minute. The supporters of Köse booed when Vestfjorden FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birk Johannessen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Vestfjorden FK's goal looked a bit too open when İhsan Yücesan came free, but Gil Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Köse's goal looked a bit too open when Jørgen Holmgren came free, but Vahit Hekimoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sabri Zübeyir was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. Jørgen Holmgren took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vahit Hekimoğlu. Vahit Hekimoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 72nd minute, Thor Hesjedal made a precise shot to the right of Vahit Hekimoğlu. Köse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Dante Iratze charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dante Iratze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If İhsan Yücesan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ousmane Diallo in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vahit Hekimoğlu saved Köse from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Ousmane Diallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vahit Hekimoğlu was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 87thth minute of the game Ousmane Diallo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Köse's Vahit Hekimoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Vestfjorden FK booed when Köse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadir Karadağ didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Eralp Yalavaç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Köse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vestfjorden FK the free kick. In the 91st minute, Eralp Yalavaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vestfjorden FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
