A throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game was made by Tommy Lingren with Sten Gustafsson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 4 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Igelström. Kilsob AFC's Boyle McJames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Igelström in the 8th minute of play. Sten Backlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batt Palmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Sten Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Gustafsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boyle McJames breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kilsob AFC's Boyle McJames proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Kilsob AFC from getting a goal against them. Basil Delaney charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basil Delaney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Morgan Skog's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boyle McJames read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Kilsob AFC's goalkeeper Boyle McJames had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Gustafsson. In the 27th match minute, Kilsob AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aengus Ghee to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Burke McAlphie came free, but Sten Backlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kilsob AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pelle Hellkvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Galatasaray's players had a chance to rest. In the 36th minute Tommy Igelström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyle McJames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sten Gustafsson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Boyle McJames 39 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sten Gustafsson made a kick off. Tommy Igelström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Boyle McJames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute Sten Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyle McJames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tommy Igelström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batt Palmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Backlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Tommy Igelström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Kilsob AFC's Brite McJon got a free kick in the 67th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Ingvar Winström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Boyle McJames was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 78 minutes into the match, Kilsob AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Cane came free, but Boyle McJames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brite McJon charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Gustafsson in the 85th minute of play forced Kilsob AFC's goalkeeper Boyle McJames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Batt Palmer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sten Backlund. The goal made the score 2-1. Batt Palmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Backlund having to interfere. Galatasaray walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
