Pong Kula who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Joel Quiros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pong Kula might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Quiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pong Kula ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pong Kula got free with Joel Quiros in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Eustaquio Larrañaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Quiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pong Kula in the 26th minute.
