Emiliano Leißner's late challenge caught a Galatasaray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiliano Leißner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Fc Satrup Phantom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Leißner to maneuver through the defense. Sten Gustafsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serge Pohl having to make a save. Serge Pohl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Gustafsson's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Serge Pohl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Igelström in the 46th minute of the match. Galatasaray's Sten Gustafsson got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sten Gustafsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when Fc Satrup Phantom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tino Schenk didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jaromir Asad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kilian Käpernick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Backlund having to interfere. Sten Gustafsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Serge Pohl firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Fc Satrup Phantom booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Cane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sten Backlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kilian Käpernick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Igelström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Serge Pohl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sten Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Serge Pohl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Fc Satrup Phantom supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galatasaray's performance. The match ended with a win for Galatasaray.
