Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomás Goren kicked off to start the match. Sten Backlund came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Letal's Tomás Goren. But to his dismay, Tomás Goren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Sten Gustafsson got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Goren in the 14th minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Sten Backlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Lingren. Galatasaray's Sten Backlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Goren in the 19th minute of play. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Tommy Lingren with Jim Deckberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tomás Goren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Backlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Galatasaray's Sten Backlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Goren in the 37th minute of play. If Tomás Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, Chicão de Queiroz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sten Backlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Atlético Letal's Pong Kula was substituted for Tomás Goren. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sten Gustafsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfredinho Sena might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sten Backlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredinho Sena ran back to his position shaking his head. When Calle Axelsson fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galatasaray's protests and gave Calle Axelsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Calle Axelsson hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Galatasaray defense, Pong Kula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sten Backlund. The Galatasaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Backlund should have stopped the shot. Pong Kula blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sten Backlund having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pong Kula got free with Sten Backlund in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the game, Ingvar Winström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Atlético Letal's Chicão de Queiroz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 67th minute Pong Kula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Backlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Atlético Letal's Pong Kula in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galatasaray's goalie prevented a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Sten Backlund successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sten Backlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pong Kula's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pong Kula in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sten Backlund saved Galatasaray from getting behind. After some careless play in the Galatasaray defense, Pong Kula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sten Backlund. The Galatasaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Backlund should have stopped the shot. Sten Backlund made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Pedro Silveira sent off a good shot on target. Chicão de Queiroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Sten Backlund made a huge save. In the 87th minute of the match Atlético Letal got a corner. Galatasaray's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dursun Ali Mehmet ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Atlético Letal's Rodrigo Vides to a score. 0-7 in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Pong Kula notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Galatasaray's Sten Backlund. Sten Backlund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pelle Hellkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Pong Kula had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sten Backlund. Galatasaray's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pong Kula was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Atlético Letal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
