Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Angelino Inautzi got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Angel Jaume hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Gurutz charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Gurutz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Atlético Rio Cuarto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Gurutz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Marco Gurutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Rio Cuarto's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Gurutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Cordario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Nabar in the 10th minute of play forced Atlético Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Bernardino Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Dimas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Nabar's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After some careless play in the Arquímedes defense, Angelino Inautzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias Cordario. The Arquímedes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Cordario should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute Angel Jaume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Angelino Inautzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Librado in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Atlético Rio Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Librado came free, but Bernardino Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arquímedes Ladio in the 26th minute of play. The Arquímedes fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Arquímedes's Domingo Librado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The corner ended in Carlos Eduardo da Silveira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arquímedes's Jeremias Cordario did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelino Inautzi in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Cordario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Eduardo da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Arquímedes's goalkeeper Jeremias Cordario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Gurutz. Bernardino Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Librado, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Fernando Nabar notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas. Bernardino Dimas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 46 minutes into the game, Arquímedes's Domingo Librado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardino Dimas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After the first half Arquímedes were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Atlético Rio Cuarto made a substitution. Humberto Francesco replaced Fernando Bras. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingo Librado made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Atlético Rio Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Jaume came free, but Bernardino Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Dimas made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Angel Jaume sent off a good shot on target. When Atlético Rio Cuarto's Angelino Inautzi in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arquímedes's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th minute, Primitivo Abeitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardino Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Librado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardino Dimas made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Domingo Librado sent off a good shot on target. Jeremias Cordario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelino Inautzi's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Atlético Rio Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Arquímedes Ladio came free, but Bernardino Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Dimas made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Domingo Librado sent off a good shot on target. Teodoro Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Domingo Librado scored 1-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardino Dimas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angel Jaume could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Bernardino Dimas made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Ciriaco Endura in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Atlético Rio Cuarto's Carlos Eduardo da Silveira. Jeremias Cordario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Inautzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Arquímedes's Ciriaco Endura got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Jeremias Cordario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Inautzi in the 93rd minute of the match. Arquímedes Ladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bernardino Dimas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arquímedes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
