Aureliano Karlo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dibag Martinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. La Pantera Azulgrana's Niceto Burni managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Thiago Silva in the 27 minute of the game. In the 28th minute Bob Marley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Aureliano Karlo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dibag Martinez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Karlo in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dibag Martinez saved La Pantera Azulgrana from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Aureliano Karlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dibag Martinez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in La Pantera Azulgrana's zone, Aureliano Karlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dibag Martinez came out of the goal and Aureliano Karlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 45 minutes La Pantera Azulgrana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dawid Beckham who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 47 minutes, Aureliano Karlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC FUSION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Karlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half AFC FUSION were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bob Marley was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Karlo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dibag Martinez was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Niceto Burni hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on AFC FUSION's corner Dawid Beckham fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dibag Martinez quite easily take care of the ball. Aureliano Karlo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dibag Martinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Bob Marley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Pantera Azulgrana made a substitution. Nicolas Jaen replaced Orlando Bloom. 69 minutes into the match, La Pantera Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Karlo came free, but Dibag Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romulo Abilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Dibag Martinez made a huge save. In the 74th minute, Aureliano Karlo made a precise shot to the right of Dibag Martinez. La Pantera Azulgrana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. AFC FUSION's Mari Balotelli was substituted for Aureliano Karlo. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Pantera Azulgrana's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Bob Marley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC FUSION would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
